Environment projects at IICDProducing enough food on the existing cultivable land requires sustainable management practices, which in turn benefit greatly from investment in and access to ICT. With a growing interest in agro-ecological projects within the agriculture sector, IICD will be looking at ways to integrate this into future projects.

Our environment projects focus on sustainable development, and are strongly related to development issues. The projects support the use of ICT to develop sustainable production systems, improve the dissemination of information on best practices and technology for small-scale farmers, and ensure that villagers have adequate information on the hygienic use of water.
