Sharing of experiences across countries is an important knowledge
sharing mechanism to strengthen the local Information exchange and
Networking (IN) networks. The IN Skills Development programme is a
full-fledged online facilitation skills development programme developed
for Ghana, Jamaica, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia. An international
expert in e-facilitation, together with a co-facilitator from the Ghana
Network, has been contracted to help design an appropriate
e-facilitation training plan for the Networks. The actual training will
reinforce the IN participants’ networking and facilitation capacities
online as well as give them the tools to progress in their lobbying and
advocacy work. Meanwhile, planning also started with the Ecuador
Network to develop a pilot training workshop on acquiring basic
lobbying and advocacy skills in order to effectively influence
policies.
