May 26 2010, Tanzania [TZ], Health

A multimedia team from the IICD supported ICT for health network in Tanzania, AfyaMtandao, has produced a video about the use of a digital health system for hospitals. The video illustrates the use of the Care2X system.

Care2X integrates different digital information systems such as patient records, lab analysis, billing in hospitals into a single efficient system. It is used for saving patient data digitally, but also to deal with financial issues more efficiently or for instance to check the medicine supply.

Doctors, nurses and hospital administrators are featured in the video to explain how the system helps them in their daily work.

The video is in Swahili, Tanzania’s official language, and subtitled in English.
