It pays to connect

Private sector expertise on information and communication technology (ICT) can make a difference in the South. The transfer of this expertise - on how ICT can be used as tool to stimulate, among others, knowledge sharing, marketing, and administrative processes - can add value to Southern business models and thus to development. The International Institute for Communication and Development (IICD) bridges the gap between the private and public sector and encourages partnerships that make use of expertise in the field of ICT for development (ICT4D).
