The GTP Ghana was selected by the World Earth Report (BBC World) for a special feature on ICTs and education.
The Global Teenager Project (GTP) Ghana was selected by BBC World to help feature in BBC’s World Earth Report documentary on appropriate technology (ICT) in Education. Schools selected for the exercise included Accra Academy, Morning Star School Limited and West African Secondary School. Students and teachers were filmed in the first quarter of 2005 while participating on-line in the Learning Circles. As the visit coincided with a web development training, the websites developed during the training were also captured. Other interviews included staff members of Rescue Mission Ghana, parents, teachers and head masters as well as the grandparents of one of the Think-Quest award winners were interviewed.
