In 2011 IICD reached almost six million people in Africa and Latin America. These and more figures can be found in IICD’s Annual Report : From Digital Dreams to Concrete Change.
The almost six million people we reached in 2011 include 3.8 million farmers/entrepreneurs, more than 1.3 million teachers and students and 660,000 patients.
IICD helped project partners in Africa to move from digital dreams to concrete change. Together with our partners, we set up 76 projects that use Information and Communication for Development. Over 80 per cent of our partners said that IICD’s projects will change the role of women for the better.
