IICD Organises Event about IT Entrepreneurship in Africa

IICD organises the debate and networking event Fill the Gap in Amsterdam on January 14. The event will focus on what the presence of foreign IT-companies means for the development of Africa. The event is organised together with Dutch development organisation Hivos.

Several speakers will talk about the impact of ICT on society, the entrepreneur climate in Africa, social entrepreneurship and the differences between doing business in Europe and Africa.

A debate will take place following the presentations.

This is the eighth edition of Fill the Gap, an annual event and debate about ICT and sustainable development.

Fill the Gap takes place on 14 January in the 'Trouwgebouw' in Amsterdam, Wibautstraat 127. Doors open at 2.30 PM and admission is free after registering on the Fill the Gap website.
