ICONNECT GHANA is a quartely online, offline and e-mail knowledge service designed to enable the use of ICTs as a tool for Ghana's development.
TAMALE CELEBERATES TECHNOLOGY WEEK.
A one day public forum on Information and Communication Technology (ICTs) was held in Tamale, the Northern Regional capital, as part of celebrations marking “Technology Week” in May 2003. The forum, which was held under the theme: "Celebrating Technology as a Critical Success Factor For National Growth and Development" was the first ever public ICT forum in the whole of Northern Ghana.
DIGITAL BRIDGE AFRICA:REDEFINING AFRICA’S FUTURE THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
Digital Partners, Harvard's W.E.B. Du Bois Institute, and the MIT Program on Internet & Telecoms Convergence co-hosted the Digital Bridge Africa roundtable in Accra, Ghana on May 8th and 9th, 2003. It was a historic gathering that brought together leaders from government, academia, IT firms, and social enterprises from Africa, the United States and Asia.

CatchITYoung
Taking ICT to the youth at the grassroots level via CatchITYoung clubs project being piloted in Ghana with plans of replicating this projects in other African countries in the near future.
TELECOMM WORKSHOP IN ACCRA
A five-day Competition Policy Workshop organised by the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO), in collaboration with the National Communications Authority was held in Accra from the 26th to the 30th of May 2003.

A one day workshop for African students was held at the Busy Internet in Accra as part of the 2nd Pan African Students Summit held at the University of Ghana.
ACTIONAID GHANA BEGINS ICT FOR DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
ActionAid Ghana has begun an ICT for development project. The project which is in its preparatory stages is aimed at empowering local people in the areas where ActionAid operates by providing them access to information.

A national forum on ICT has been held as part of activities marking “Technology Week “in Ghana. RESCUE MISSION GHANA LAUCHES WEB DESIGN CONTEST
The Global Teenager Project Ghana has launched a web design contest for primary and senior secondary schools. The web design contest follows the Learning Circle process (a collaborative learning project between students worldwide to formulate questions, do research, provide answers to questions and to evaluate the learning Circle process).
GHANA DOT GOV - THE GHANA PORTAL IS BORN
The Official Government of Ghana Portal, www.ghana.gov.gh was formally launched on Wednesday the 9th of April, 2003 by the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H. E. Alhaji Aliu Mahama.
