New Teamleader Knowledge Sharing at IICD

Starting June 16 he will complement the existing IICD team and take
over the position formerly filled by Mr. Peter Ballantyne. Rob Watson
has worked for the last 18 years in the field of human rights,
democratisation and peace building as a trainer, manager and
consultant, working to strengthen civil society. His work included e.g.
strategic planning, management development, programme design and
development, and fundraising. In 1995 he relocated to Europe from South
Africa, after working with human rights NGOs for 11 years. As a
consultant and director for Frontier Consulting he worked with donors,
international agencies and NGOs in Africa, Europe and Asia. Before
starting at IICD he was the Peace building Program Manager for CRS in
Indonesia and Regional Advisor in South East Asia. IICD congratulates
Rob Watson and wishes him good luck in this new endeavour. Welcome to
