Deepening local ownership through partnerships: IICD strategic framework 2002 ' 2007

Late in 2001, the Dutch Minister for Development Cooperation approved IICD's plans for the coming 5 years. Country Programmes in up to nine developing countries will emphasise local network building, project and policy formulation and execution, local capacity building and knowledge sharing, plus greater investment in local monitoring and evaluation. Globally, these will be complemented by several thematic knowledge sharing networks.
