Mali-NTIC - a web space on IICTs in Mali

News

Mar 19 2002, Mali [ML]

Afribone and IICD recently launched a new website on ICTs for development in Mali.

This gate (updated weekly) on Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) aims to be the reflection of all that occurs in the area of ICTs in Mali. It will contain reports and interviews on projects using ICTs for development, on utilisation and perception of ICTs by the population, on the Malian policy towards ICTs, as well as current information and services such as the addresses of cybercafes and telecentres in Mali, useful links, and a calendar of upcoming events and training activities.

IICD and Afribone emphasize that this site is open to all the actors in the area of ICT for development. Therefore both organisations call on all actors in Mali and in the West-African under-region: help them to carry out this ambition by sending your information concerning ICTs and the use of it. They will be glad to publish the dates of trainings, conferences and other events or to report on an ICT activity: malintic@afribone.net.ml.
