Teachers from IICD-supported youth resource centres throughout Zambia are learning to enrich their classes by using computers and are also training their students in computer use. Thomas Ng’ambi is one of these teachers.

Ng’ambi is an auto mechanics instructor at the Chawama Youth Resource Centre and explains in a video how he now uses Powerpoint to enliven his classes and make things clearer for his students. He also tells how he now is able to plan his lessons more effectively.

The video also features students that were trained in computer use. They say that because of their computer skills, they are able to have more opportunities on the job market.

The video was produced by IICD and Africa Interactive.
