This publication focuses on how information and communication technologies (ICTs) support the agriculture sector in Bolivia, including project descriptions, impact and lessons learned.

This publication focuses on how information and communication technologies (ICTs) support the agriculture sector in Bolivia, including project descriptions, impact and lessons learned.

Information and communication technology projects in
the IICD Bolivia Country Programme, TICBolivia, seek to
close the information gaps that hold back the sector and that
handicap rural communities dependent on small-scale
agriculture. Access to information makes it possible to
enhance economic opportunities through increased market
access, improved negotiating powers and better production
methods.
